Gilbert T. Gonzalez President & Founder MCS of Tampa, Inc. As President and Founder of MCS, Mr. Gilbert T. Gonzalez (Gil) leads the company's overall strategic direction. A self-made entrepreneur, MBA and strategic management analyst, his career has been dedicated to changing the way small disadvantaged technology solutions businesses are perceived by Government contracting organizations and large national contractors. His depth and breadth of experience in designing IP-Converged Technology and IT/telecommunications mission critical solutions for commercial, military, and other Federal, state and local government clients has resulted in the fastest-growing privately owned technology firm in the Tampa Bay area for four years running. In 2000, Gil led MCS to become a certified minority owned 8(a) small disadvantaged business (SDB) as well as a certified HUBZone business. Under his leadership and guidance, MCS was a finalist in 2004 and 2005 for the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, and in 2005 Gil was named the Small Business Person of the Year for Florida by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Gil is a goal-oriented team leader with diverse experience and proven ability to solve mission critical problems through business process analysis and the application of innovative technologies. He has an extensive knowledge of the Convergence/IP Automation industry. He has proven project management ability, with the skills necessary to administer and manage complex multi-discipline projects. In addition to leading a full-time staff with branch and project offices located throughout the country, Gil has published both software and case studies related to the fields of Strategic Management and Business Policy. He personally holds both the Low-Voltage Specialty Electrical Contractor (ES) and an Unlimited Electrical Contractor (EC) licenses for MCS. He has also earned the designation of Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD). The Tampa native holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS) and Economics from University of South Florida (USF), graduating with Honors, and is a frequently requested lecturer at business forums. James V. Slagle, Jr. Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing MCS of Tampa, Inc. As the MCS Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, James V. Slagle, Jr. (Jim) directs the company's strategic marketing direction and leads the company's sales staff. He has 25 years of diverse management and operational expertise in utilizing information systems technologies to streamline and enhance productivity and overall program effectiveness throughout the Federal and commercial marketplaces. He has expertise supervising and managing Federal and commercial contracts, to include subcontractor relationships, client interface, and quality control. Jim has managed numerous complex efforts throughout his career, with direct experience in all aspects of the contracting and consulting fields, including business development, capture management, sales, design, installation and service, marketing, and project management. His leadership and industry expertise have refined the efficiency and maintained the quality of the company's service, and have enabled MCS to integrate new technologies in order to adapt to the changing corporate, education, and government market demands. Jim's ability to create a business development team to assist customers in articulating their specific requirements, thereby providing them with the "right" solutions to meet their needs, has allowed MCS to repeatedly meet the cost, schedule, and performance goals of mission-focused organizations in both the Federal and commercial markets. This approach has resulted in MCS developing one of the most diverse and loyal customer bases of any Federal small business contractor in the southeast region. Jim has helped lead MCS to unprecedented growth during a time of economic downturn. With remarkable forward thinking, he transitioned the image of a commercial-focused company with a complementary sales force into a much sought after Federal 8(a) and HUBZone contractor with a highly effective Federal business development team. In addition, through Jim's guidance, MCS gained a Top Secret Facility Clearance in 2000, which has resulted in approximately 100 employees maintaining security clearances at the Secret level or higher. David Dallmann Executive Vice President, Operations MCS of Tampa, Inc. As the MCS Executive Vice President of Operations, David Dallmann (Dave) oversees all program management, installation, and engineering operations, as well as all regional offices, with ultimate responsibility down the line for production crews and job site management. He also directs the daily operations of MCS and leads the company's technical and service staff. He has more than 15 years of experience in designing, installing, testing, configuring, and managing large-scale telecommunications and IT projects. He has expertise supervising and managing operations for Federal and commercial contracts, to include subcontractor relationships, client interface, and quality control. Dave is a goal-oriented team leader with extensive experience in managing and overseeing multiple sites. He has an innate ability to motivate crews, supervise, manage, and coordinate large corporate accounts, both on- and off-site, and manage materials for a successful implementation. He manages large-scale network infrastructure installations, network resources and security, and inventory control of corporate accounts as well as the MCS warehouse. He also manages the training and development of new field technicians. Dave has managed numerous complex projects throughout his career, with direct experience in all aspects of the IP-Converged Technology field, including telecommunications, IT, telephony, cabling, voice, data, hardware and software. His leadership and industry expertise have refined the efficiency and maintained the quality of the company's service, and have enabled MCS to integrate new technologies in order to adapt to the changing corporate, education, and government market demands. Dave has helped lead MCS to unprecedented operational efficiencies and cost controls during a time of economic downturn. His hands-on operations leadership has directly resulted in MCS improving its bottom-line performance while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
